President Patil visits Infosys

BANGALORE: President Pratibha Patil visited the Infosys headquarters here and interacted with the company's senior management.

The President viewed a corporate video on Infosys' history and was taken on a tour around its premises.

She also attended a tree plantation ceremony at the campus as part of the 'green initiative' of the company.

Speaking on her visit to the Infosys campus, Patil said: "Infosys has done a commendable job, working with vision and dedication".

"Infosys is a leader in its field. Its principle of ethics and social responsibility contributes to the growth of the country's economy and society," she said.

Patil, who arrived here yesterday, is on a four-day visit to the state.
