Prashant Kishor appointed JDU vice-president

NEW DELHI: Janata Dal United (JDU) chief Nitish Kumar on Tuesday appointed election strategist Prashant Kishor as the party's vice-president.

Kishor had joined the party a month ago.

JDU’s national general secretary K C Tyagi said Kishor will help the party expand its social base at the ground-level.


Sources in the JDU said Kishor will get opportunities to implement his new ideas for strengthening the party organisation across the state.
