Pranab Mukherjee to meet Congress MLAs in Bhopal on July 11

Pranab Mukherjee would pay a one-day visit to Bhopal on July 11 to meet Congress MLAs as part of his Presidential election campaign.

BHOPAL: UPA presidential nominee Pranab Mukherjee would pay a one-day visit to the state capital on July 11 to meet Congress MLAs as part of his campaign for the July 19 Presidential election, Madhya Pradesh Congress media department chairman Manak Agarwal said.

Congress general secretary Digvijay Singh and Union Ministers Kamal Nath and Jyotiraditya Scindia are likely to accompany Mukherjee.

Madhya Pradesh Congress president Kantilal Bhuria and Leader of the Opposition in the state assembly Ajay Singh would receive Mukherjee at the airport from where he would be brought to a city hotel for the meeting, Agarwal said.

According to Agarwal, Congress has invited Bahujan Samaj Party, Samajwadi Party and some independent MLAs to attend the meeting with Mukherjee.
