PR agent remark: CM Akhilesh Yadav taunts Congress for hiring Prashant Kishor for revival in UP

LUCKNOW: UP CM Akhilesh Yadav on Tuesday attacked Congress for hiring the services of political strategist Prashant Kishor - who played a key role in the victory of the Grand Alliance in the Bihar assembly polls last November - for its revival in UP.

Without taking Kishor's name, Akhilesh, while speaking on the last day of the budget session in the state assembly , said it was regrettable that Congress, which led the Freedom Movement, was depending on a PR agency' for its revival.

Congress has roped in Kishor for overseeing its strategy in Punjab and UP polls. On March 10, he is scheduled to attend a meeting with state, district and city unit office-bearers of UP Congress.

Akhilesh said he was confident that once elections were over in 2017 the composition of the House will remain the same, with his Samajwadi Party in the majority .
