Post SC panel indictment: Sushma Swaraj demands AK Ganguly's resignation
Swaraj today demanded that retired Supreme Court judge Justice A K Ganguly quit as Chairman of West Bengal Human Rights Commission after the apex court panel indicted him for his "unwelcome behaviour" with a young woman law intern.

"Since the Supreme Court panel has indicted Justice Ganguli for his unwelcome behaviour, his continuation as Chairman WBHRC is most unwelcome," she said on twitter.
A three-member Supreme Court Committee set up to look into allegations of sexual assault came out with its report concluding that the statement of the law intern, who had complained against Justice A K Ganguly, prima facie discloses an "act of unwelcome behaviour" and "conduct of sexual nature" on the part of the retired judge.
The Supreme Court, however, made it clear that no further follow up action is required by it in view of the fact that Justice Ganguly had demitted office on the date of the incident--December 24 last year.
