Poor response forces government to defer some ‘Incredible India’ roadshows
In an email sent to India’s tourism offices in Paris, Frankfurt, New York and Moscow, and administration in states and union territories, the ministry said it is postponing the roadshows owing to a poor response.

In an email sent to India’s tourism offices in Paris, Frankfurt, New York and Moscow, and administration in states and union territories, the ministry said it is postponing the roadshows owing to a poor response from stakeholders and because of upcoming events such as the India Tourism Mart and UNWTO World Tourism Day celebrations in India, said officials aware of the matter.
The ministry, however, said that its ro-adshows planned for Vietnam, Philippines, Indonesia, South Korea, Belgium, Spain, Portugal and the Netherlands in August, September and October will be organised as scheduled.
The cancelled roadshows include those that were to be held between September 16-19 in Marseilles, Rome, Milan and Vienna, between October 14-18 in Buenos Aires, Sao Paulo, Bogota and Monterrey, and between October 21-24 in Warsaw, Prague, Bucharest and Athens.
“Fresh dates for the above roadshows will be finalised in consultation with the stakeholders and conveyed to all concerned,” the ministry said, according to an official cited earlier.
