Ponting opts to bat first, Dravid rested
Australia captain Ricky Ponting won the toss and decided to bat first in the final one dayer of the seven-match cricket series against India here on Wednesday.
India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni said senior player Rahul Dravid has been 'rested', with Dinesh Kaarthick replacing him. Fit-again left-arm seamer RP Singh came in for S Sreesanth.
Australia go into the match with an unchanged side. In-form opener Matthew Hayden is yet to recover from his hip injury, which earns Brad Hodge another chance to get some runs under his belt.
