Poll survey suggests BJP in for near sweep in Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat
BJP is projected to make a near sweep in Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls.

In Maharashtra too, the poll conducted by CNN-IBN and CSDS projects BJP-Shiv Sena combine ahead of Congress-NCP coalition with 25-33 seats as against 12-20 seats out of 48 seats.
The survey shows BJP getting 23-27 seats out of a total of 29 in Madhya Pradesh and 20-25 of the 26 Lok Sabha seats in Gujarat.
Congress is projected to get 2-5 seats in Madhya Pradesh and 1-4 seats in Gujarat.
In terms of poll percentage, BJP is projected to get 50 per cent in Chhattisgarh.
Among the PM candidates, Modi continues to be the top choice leaving Rahul Gandhi a distant second.
46 per cent of those polled in Gujarat wanted Modi to be PM, while only 16 per cent support Gandhi.
40 per cent respondents in Maharashtra prefer Modi as PM, a jump of 19 per cent in a year, while 14 per cent prefer Gandhi as PM, almost the same as last year, the poll said.
Interestingly, even in Madhya Pradesh 46 per cent preferred Modi over their Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan for the post of PM.
Debutant Aam Admi Party is projected to fare decently in these polls. The party is likely to get 7 per cent voteshare in Gujarat and 5 per cent in Maharashtra.
45 per cent of the respondents said UPA government is very corrupt while a high 69 per cent gave credit to Team Anna for passage of the Lokpal Bill.
