Poll results: Congress is close to resounding victory in Manipur

GUWAHATI: Congress is close to resounding victory in Northeastern state of Manipur. The party is leading in as many as 29 seats and has won 10 seats.

There is jubilation in the congress camp as the party is on verge of creating history by romping back to power for third consecutive term.

All India Trinamool Congress has sprung poll surprise. It is leading in 4 seats and has won one seat. Former minister, Ram Vilas Paswan led, Lok Jan Shakti Party has won one seat.

National People's Party ( NPP) has won one seat. Naga Peoples Front ( NPF) has won 2 seats.
