She said, "At midnight, the chief secretary was removed. Have you ever heard of such actions being taken in the dead of night? She is a Bengali woman. They removed her. They are anti-Bengali and anti-women... Change everything... Even then the government in Bengal won't change. Mark my words."

Banerjee claimed her residence might be targeted similar to the alleged attack on the house of minister Shashi Panja ahead of the PM's rally in Kolkata on Saturday.
