Politics not for misusing power: West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee
The CM Mamata met 94-year-old veteran communist leader Ashok Ghosh at the party office and wished him a healthy life.

"Politics doesn't mean misusing power but working for the masses and living upto commitments. Politics means what you say on day one you should follow that on day 100 also," Banerjee said.
The Chief Minister met 94-year-old veteran communist leader and All India Forward Bloc state secretary Ashok Ghosh at the party office and wished him a healthy life.
"Ashokda belongs to the genre of political leaders who have dedicated their lives for the masses. Leaders like him are examples. Rather than leading luxurious lives they have taken pains and suffered hardships to work for the masses," Banerjee said in Ghosh's presence.
"I am here for a courtesy visit as I couldn't come to wish him on his birthday earlier this month. So I had decided once I am back in Kolkata I will come and visit him. I had spoken to him on his birthday," she said and greeted the veteran leader with flowers and sweets.
Banerjee said she shares the lifestyle of various communist leaders who had believed in simple living and working for the masses.
"We all want to work by following the ideology of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. Mamata Banerjee too follows that ideology. She is just like my younger sister," Ghosh said.
