GUNTUR: The Guntur police has denied permission to YSR Congress chief Jaganmohan Reddy for holding the "continuous" hunger strike - 'Deeksha' at a venue here.

The permission for continuous hunger strike has been denied on the grounds of interruption to traffic, Urban Superintendent of Police Guntur, S Tripathi said.

He said that the information was given to YSR Congress leaders yesterday.

Party leader Ambati Rambabu alleged that the AP government is trying to stop Jagan with a 'political view'.
