Police chargesheet terror attack accused Saleem Patla in cheating case
The police has filed a charge sheet against alleged terrorist Saleem Patla, arrested in connection with the 1992 attack at a PAC camp in Meerut, in a cheating case, police said.

Investigating officer Devender Kumar filed the charge sheet yesterday in the court of Chief judicial Magistrate against Patla for allegedly using forged documents to procure SIM cards, Deputy SP DK Mittal said.
Patla was wanted in the 1992 attack at a camp of Provincial Armed Constabulary in Meerut and was arrested in a joint operation by Muzaffarnagar police and Anti-Terrorist Squad on October 31 last year from Khatoli town in the district.
The terrorist was absconding since the attack in which two security personnel were killed in the camp. Two of Patla's accomplices in the attack were given life sentence.
Khatoli police had registered a case against him for cheating after mobile SIM cards allegedly procured with forged documents were recovered from him during arrest.
However, two other cases in connection with the attack are pending against Patla in the Meerut court.
He was recently shifted to Meerut jail from Muzaffarnagar for hearing of pending cases.
