Police busts militant hideout in Samba

During a search operation they found a hideout in Bai Nallah at Matluni village of Gagwal border belt in the district.

JAMMU: Police today busted a hideout and recovered a cache of arms and ammunitions including five Chinese pistols in Jammu and Kashmir's Samba district.


During a search operation they found a hideout in Bai Nallah at Matluni village of Gagwal border belt in the district.

The recoveries include two IEDs (one packed in a tiffin box and the other in a polythene), five Chinese pistols, five magazines and five pipe bombs including 200 rounds of ammunitions and six wireless sets with five batteries.

Most of the recoveries were found damaged as the police suspects the hideout was an old one.
