PMK congratualates RJD chief for victory in Bihar

CHENNAI: Pattali Makkal Katchi leader Ramadoss today congratulated Rashtriya Janata Dal leader Lalu Prasad for the alliance's victory in Bihar assembly polls saying, the win was a "commendable achievement" as the coalition emerged to bag the position of single largest party.

"I wholeheartedly congratulate the victory of coalition of which Rashtriya Janata Dal is a partner", Ramadoss said in a letter to Lalu Prasad.

"The people of Bihar had voted for social justice and growth. The most important turning point is that you, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and (Congress President) Sonia Gandhi came together setting aside personal likes and dislikes to form this historical alliance", he said.
