PM should have sent me message for success of VGGIS: Modi

Vibrant Gujarat Global Investors' Summit is a success, said Modi.

AHMEDABAD: Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi today said that Prime Minister Manmohan Singh should have sent a message for the success of Vibrant Gujarat Global Investors' Summit (VGGIS) 2009.

Addressing a gathering of visitors at Science City here, Modi said that the Prime Minister should have sent a message during the two-day event, which would have given a message of nationalism.

He alleged that the Prime Minister and the Central government had missed the opportunity to send a message of nationalism.

Modi discussed how the VGGIS would help the state and country get investments at a time when recession and global slowdown have hit the industry very hard.

He also discussed the success of Chandrayaan mission and the achievements which Indian scientists have accomplished.

Scientists from ISRO, Physical Research Laboratory (PRL) and Space Application Centre (SAC) visited the mega exhibition organised by the state industries department.
