NEW DELHI: BJP today said the government's "failure" to check price rise, corruption and threat to internal security will be discussed in the party's National Council Meet to be held here in March where the party will chalk out its strategy for the Lok Sabha and assembly polls.

BJP Vice President Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi told reporters here that that the National Council, comprising office bearers from the central leadership as well as the states and district levels, will deliberate on ways to apprise the people across the country with the "failures" of UPA government.

"The two-day National Council, to be held here on March 2 and 3, will discuss the political situation, state of the economy, internal and national security, bad governance, price rise and corruption in UPA government," Naqvi said.

The conclave is also likely to discuss the Ayodhya temple issue and the chorus for making Narendra Modi BJP's Prime Ministerial candidate which were the focus of VHP and RSS at the on-going Maha Khumbh at Allahabad.
