India's economy is doing fine, the government has handled recent controversies well and Prime Minister Narendra Modi's popularity ratings appear intact among his core constituency.

That's the conclusion of a ET-TNS survey of salaried persons in seven major cities, considered a traditional support base of the BJP. Here are the key fi ndings of the survey.
