PM Narendra Modi's 'Make in India' campaign a step in right direction, says Indra Nooyi
KOLKATA: The 'Make in India' campaign will boost domestic manufacturing and create jobs in the country, PepsiCo chairman and CEO Indra Nooyi told reporters on the sidelines of the IIM Calcutta convocation. She said almost everything that PepsiCo sells in India is locally manufactured.

In line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision to make India a manufacturing hub, the government is aggressively pushing PM's pet 'Make in India' initiative in Hannover.

In a recent press conference, Commerce Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said that India's Pavilion at the upcoming fair is being constructed by the Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion (DIPP).

The pavilion will aim to project India's brand image by incorporating many of the key core sectors of the Indian portfolio forming part of the Make in India campaign.
