PM Narendra Modi to lay foundation stone of Ambedkar memorial on October 11

MUMBAI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lay foundation stone of the Bharat Ratna Babasaheb Ambedkar International Memorial in Central Mumbai on October 11.

Maharashtra Finance Minister Sudhir Mungantiwar told reporters that the programme has been finalised for October 11.

Meanwhile, state Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has finalised the project plan prepared by Shashi Prabhu and Associates.

The project will come up on 12.5 acre plot of Indu mill near Shivaji Park in Dadar.

Earlier this programme was to be held on October 4 as announced by state Agriculture Minister Eknath Khase, however later it got postponed.
