PM Narendra Modi recalls Mamallapuram visit, pens poem

In the eight-paragraph signed poem, Modi describes the ocean's relationship with the sun, the waves, and its pain.

— Narendra Modi (@narendramodi) 1570936367000On Saturday, the PM spent a quiet time on the beach of Mamallapuram as he hosted the Chinese President Xi Jinping in the city for an informal summit. In another tweet, Modi said:” Refreshing walk and exercises in Mamallapuram, along the scenic coast.”

He was also seen picking up plastic litter, water bottles and other waste from a beach during his morning walk. On Twitter, Modi released a three-minute video in which he was seen collecting waste and urged the people to ensure that public places are clean and tidy.
