PM Narendra Modi meets winners of Asian Para Games

NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi Tuesday interacted with medal winners of the Asian Para Games held recently in Jakarta.

"It was a delight to interact with the medal winners of the Asian Para Games held in Jakarta recently," he tweeted posting a series of pictures of the athletes.

Referring to individual winners, he said the country was proud of their achievement.


"India is proud of Anand Kumar Boregowda for bringing home the Bronze Medal in Men's Doubles badminton at the Asian Para Games 2018. Congratulations Anand!... Chirag Baretha was a part of the Indian team that won the Bronze Medal in Badminton.



"Wishing this inspirational sportsperson great success in the future too. We are proud of you!," the prime minister wrote in a series of tweets.
