PM Narendra Modi greets Tajikistan on Independence Day

NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today extended greetings to the people of Tajikistan on their Independence Day.

"On their Independence Day, my greetings to the people of Tajikistan. India shares deep historical and cultural links with Tajikistan," he said in a statement.

"India and Tajikistan are actively working to further strengthen their ties in agriculture, connectivity, trade and defence," Modi said.
