PM Narendra Modi greets Nagaland on statehood day

NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today greeted the people of Nagaland on its foundation day and wished the state the best in its development journey.

"On Nagaland's Statehood Day, I convey my greetings to the people of Nagaland & wish them the best in the State's development journey," he tweeted.

Modi, who is currently on a visit to Nagaland and other northeastern states of the region, added, "I consider myself fortunate to be able to celebrate this special occasion with the people of Nagaland, enjoying their excellent hospitality."
