PM Narendra Modi greets Manmohan Singh on his birthday

NEW YORK: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today greeted his predecessor Manmohan Singh who turned 83 today.

"I wish Dr. Manmohan Singh on his birthday and pray to Almighty that he remains in good health and leads a long life," the Prime Minister said.

Born on September 26, 1932 in Gah, which is now in the Pakistani side of Punjab, Singh was the Prime Minister of India from 2004 to 2014.
