PM Narendra Modi greets Goans on occasion of State Liberation Day
Goa was liberated from 450-year-long Portuguese rule on December 19, 1961 after Indian Army marched in the region.

There were various functions held across the state with the state-level event being organised at the Campal ground here where Goa Chief Minister Laxmikant Parsekar was the Chief Guest.
