PM Modi’s birthday: Focus on real service, not noise in sewa saptah, BJP tells CMs
The party has already announced that the Sewa Saptah will be organised from September 14 to September 20.

The four-member committee, headed by BJP vice-president Avinash Rai Khanna and comprising Union minister Arjun Ram Meghwal and party national secretaries Sudha Yadav and Sunil Deodhar, has also divided the responsibility of handling various states among themselves. Each member will have nine states under them. Khanna will handle the northern states and Tripura; Meghwal will be responsible for the northern-eastern states, West Bengal and Odisha; Sudha Yadav will take care of central India along with Khanna and this includes the states of Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, Gujarat, Bihar and Chhattisgarh. Deodhar has been given the job of handling the southern states and Maharashtra.
While the schedule of the top BJP leaders and Union ministers are being worked out in coordination with the state units of the party, Khanna has written to all chief ministers of BJP-ruled states. All party MPs are also being intimated to apprise them about the programmes they can organise in their respective constituencies/states during the week. The party has already announced that the Sewa Saptah will be organised from September 14 to September 20. Modi will turn 69 on September 17. All events under this programmes will be organised by the party and directions have been issued to focus on the events and shun posters and hoardings.
