PM Modi to hold 10 NDA cluster meets from next week

NEW DELHI: After meeting NDA leaders, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will meet the MPs of the ruling alliance in around ten different groups over dinner from July 25, sources said.

After more than four years, the BJP called the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) meeting earlier this week to present a united front at a time when the opposition parties have come together. The NDA meeting was attended by 39 parties.

Continuing with its efforts to strengthen the chemistry with its allies in the run-up to the 2024 polls, Modi will meet all the NDA MPs from both houses of Parliament starting July 25, sources said. The purpose of this meeting is to strengthen the inter-party relations ahead of the general elections, sources said.


These meetings will be held at different locations and each meeting will be hosted by a group of two Union Ministers, two BJP office-bearers and two of its MPs, they said.

Union Ministers including Anurag Thakur, Mahender Nath Pandey, Anupriya Patel, Kiren Rijiju, Sarbanand Sonowal, Arjun Ram Meghwal, Jitendra Singh and others have been assigned this work.
