PM Modi likely to address two public rallies on February 22 in Assam

Assam finance minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Friday said that Modi is likely to visit river island Majuli and Silapathar. “One of these programmes will be virtually addressed.”

GUWAHATI: Prime minister Narendra Modi is likely to address two public rallies on February 22 in Majuli and Silapathar.

Assam finance minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Friday said that Modi is likely to visit river island Majuli and Silapathar. “One of these programmes will be virtually addressed.”

Assam is likely to assembly polls in April this year. Already Modi on February 7 Modi addressed a public rally in Dhekiajuli in northern Assam’s Sonitpur district. On January 23 Modi visited Sivasagar and participated in a programme of distribution of land certificates to landless people.
