NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, today greeted the people of Brazil on their Independence Day and said India is committed to enhancing ties with the Latin American country.

"On their nation's Independence Day, I convey my greetings to the people of Brazil," Modi said.

Modi said that Brazil was a key global partner for India which is determined to harness the potential for cooperation between both the nations.

"We are committed to enhancing our ties with Brazil. Brazil is a key global partner for India and we are determined to harness the vast potential for cooperation between our nations," the Prime Minister said.
