PM Modi and Uddhav Thackeray to share stage in Mumbai

Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray and Prime Minister Narendra Modi will share the stage in Mumbai as the PM is going to attend two events.

At INS Shikra, the naval heliport in Colaba, the Chief Minister will greet the Prime Minister. The Chief Minister and Prime Minister will then travel to Raj Bhavan for the first event, where they will share the stage.

The Prime Minister and the Chief Minister will also drive together to the Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) for the second event.

The Mumbai Police Department has issued traffic advisories since the VIP movement is expected to disrupt traffic flow in the city. After the ceremony in BKC, a business centre in the suburbs, the Prime Minister departs for New Delhi.

The PM will open the Jal Bhushan Building and Gallery of Revolutionaries at Raj Bhawan in Mumbai about four o'clock in the evening. He'll also speak at the Bandra Kurla Complex at the 'Dwishatabdi Mahotsav' (200th-anniversary celebrations) of 'Mumbai Samachar.'

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated a shila (rock) temple dedicated to the 17th-century saint Sant Tukaram Maharaj Mandir in Dehu, Maharashtra, on Tuesday. During his visit, Modi engaged with 'warkaris,' which comes ahead of the annual 'wari' tradition, which will begin on June 20 from Dehu.

On the occasion, the Prime Minister was also awarded a special headgear known as the Tukaram pagdi. Tukaram was a well-known member of the Bhakti movement.
