PM Manmohan upset with Reddy, MPs’ conduct
NEW DELHI: Manmohan Singh is upset at the unruly conduct of Congress party leaders from Andhra Pradesh, including two Cabinet colleagues and former CM Kiran Kumar Reddy, who sought to hijack the government’s discourse over Telangana.

While Reddy sought time with the PM for five days before finally resigning on Wednesday, Singh refused to grant him an appointment, according to a senior government functionary aware of the development.

After an expelled Congress MP unleashed a pepper spray in the Lok Sabha and Pallam Raju and Chiranjeevi slammed the bill, the PM sought to convey his strong disapproval of such behaviour.

The PMO is learned to have communicated to his officials that he doesn’t want his pictures to appear along side Andhra ministers who have embarrassed UPA on publicity material emanating from their departments about the government’s achievements.

Singh is also unhappy with BJP for going back on an agreement about allowing the debate on Telangana bill in Parliament.
