NEW DELHI: President Pratibha Patil and a host of other leaders greeted Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, who turned 75 on Wednesday.
Besides Patil, Vice President Mohd Hamid Ansari and Lok Sabha Speaker Somnath Chatterjee greeted the Prime Minister over phone.
UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi drove to the Prime Minister's residence to wish him, a PMO spokesman said
The dignitaries also sent bouquets to Singh, who is recovering after a prostate surgery and has been functioning from home since last week.
