PM Manmohan Singh in Guwahati to cast vote

Despite rain in the early hours of the day, voters are turning out in the state.

GUWAHATI: Prime Minister Manmohan Singh refused to comment on the possibility of Congress seeking support of the Left parties in the post election scenario. He along with his wife, Gursharan Kaur, exercised his franchise in Guwahati.

Talking to reporters at Dispur H S School, he said, "I am feeling great." Mrs Kaur echoed similar feelings.

On being asked if he is feeling tense on the day of second phase of polls, he said he is not at all tense.

On his coming to cast the ballot here, he said that it is homecoming after two years. Despite rain in the early hours of the day on Thursday in several areas, voters are turning out in the 11 constituencies of the state.
