BENGALURU: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed concern over, what he called, the steady fall in the quality of life in Bengaluru and said the Centre is doing its best to support Karnataka to address the challenges in India’s Silicon Valley.

Modi was responding to a question from former urban development minister S Suresh Kumar during an interaction via the ‘NaMo app’ on Thursday.

The PM recalled his association with the city from days prior to his becoming the chief minister of Gujarat.

Bengaluru, he said, belonged to the entire country, and not just Karnataka, and hence, the Centre was doing its best to help the city.
