Plea in Delhi High Court for cancellation of AAP's registration as a party
The petitioner has also sought a probe into alleged forging and fabrication of documents by AAP while registering itself with the ECI as a political party.

The petition also seeks an order restraining the party from contesting coming Lok Sabha elections till final disposal of the case.
The petitioner, Hans Raj Jain, has also sought a probe by a Special Investigation Team (SIT) into the alleged forging and fabrication of documents by AAP while registering itself with the ECI as a political party.
He has also sought initiation of disciplinary action against officials concerned of ECI for allegedly failing to verify or scrutinise affidavits and other documents submitted by AAP members.
The petitioner, who claims to have contested the parliamentary elections in 1989 and 1991 from East Delhi, has alleged the "registration of AAP was allowed (by the ECI) in a hurried manner on the basis of false and fabricated documents without making any proper enquiries".
He also charged "the Commission indulged in partiality under some inducement or undue pressure" as the registration of no other party had been allowed so quickly.
He alleged there are discrepancies in the residential addresses given by some AAP members in their affidavits when compared to the address given in their voter identity card or income tax returns.
