Plea in Delhi HC over house rented to Arvind Kejriwal

The petition filed on Wednesday by Virender Kumar Jain contended that the property on 4B, Flag Staff Road was a disputed property and without informing him, the flat was rented out to the AAP leader.
Jain's counsel, Girish Aggarwal, said that on Feb 2, 2011 the high court had ordered that no third party interest could be created in the suit properties unless the issue is resolved. The dispute is still pending in the high court here. "The defendant no. 2 ( Naren Jain) inducted Arvind Kejriwal as a tenant without seeking any permission from the court and without informing the plaintiff," he said.
The petitioner apprised the court that the violation came to his notice through newspapers, TV channels and Kejriwal's tweet thanking Naren for the flat on a monthly rent of Rupee 1. Virendra has objected to renovation of the property but the work has not stopped.
Virender also dismissed his brother Naren's claim that Kejriwal is his guest and not a tenant. Claiming that the former chief minister "was aware about the court proceedings and injunction orders", he requested the court to initiate proceedings against Kejriwal.
