PK Shahi refutes Lalu Yadav's claim of being relative of special CBI judge
PATNA: Refuting the claims of the RJD chief Lalu Prasad , the education minister in the Nitish government PK Shahi said here on Tuesday that he was not a relative of the special CBI judge in Ranchi PK Singh, a ground cited by Lalu for seeking transfer of the fodder scam case from the CBI court to another court. “In my knowledge , the trial judge is not my relative. The judge happens to be grandson of the step-brother of my grandfather, according to Laluji.

The way Laluji has linked my relationship with the judge, I will become a relative of everyone in the Bhumiar caste,” Shahi told ET The special CBI court in Ranch will deliver the final verdict in the fodder scam case in which the former chief minister is an accused on July 15. But Prasad has now filed a petition in Jharkhand High Court seeking its transfer.
