Pilot supposed to operate Nitin Gadkari's flight arrested for bullet posession

A pilot of a private air charter company, supposed to operate BJP president Nitin Gadkari's flight to Mumbai, was arrested for carrying a bullet in his baggage.

NEW DELHI: A pilot of a private air charter company, who was supposed to operate BJP president Nitin Gadkari's flight to Mumbai, was arrested today for possessing a bullet in his baggage.

Rafael Jose Hubbard, a Canadian origin pilot of Aero Air charter company was arrested after a .762 mm bullet was found in his luggage at the domestic terminal at the airport here, a CISF official said.

Hubbard was to operate Gadkari's flight today to Mumbai. The bullet was detected in his baggage during security check at general aviation lounge of terminal 1D, he said.

After questioning, the pilot was handed over to Delhi Police for further action.
