CHENNAI: Unidentified persons hurled petrol bombs at two post offices in the city late last night, causing damage to the property.

No one was injured in the incidents, police said today. Petrol bombs were hurled at Mylapore and Mandaiveli post offices and some persons have been detained for questioning, they said without divulging further details.

Sources in the Fire and Rescue Services department said the fire had been doused.
