'People's votes murdered...': Sanjay Raut calls TN Guv’s move against TVK's Vijay ‘unconstitutional’

MP Sanjay Raut on Thursday said Tamil Nadu Governor Rajendra Arlekar not inviting TVK chief Vijay to form the new government in the southern state despite his party winning the maximum seats is an "extremely unconstitutional" stand. Talking to reporters in Nashik in north Maharashtra, the Rajya Sabha MP said a strange political situation has arisen in Tamil Nadu, where the recent elections threw up a hung Assembly. Actor Vijay's Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) has emerged as the largest party with 108 seats in the 234-member House, falling short of the simple majority mark of 118.
