People's grand alliance will defeat Maoist-Marxist-Congress combine: Mamata Banerjee
Mamata Banerjee said that peoples grand alliance in West Bengal villages will defeat the unholy nexus among the CPIM, Congress, Maoists and BJP.

Mamata reached Bankura on Friday night after addressing a campaign rally at Manbazar in Purulia district which is also a Maoist-infested district in West Bengal. "We had forged an alliance with the Congress because the party had promised that they will oppose the CPIM tooth and nail. But later we realised that the Congress is helping the CPIM in many ways. The Congress government in Delhi was so friendly to the previous Left Front government in West Bengal that the Centre had allowed the Communist government to borrow money from the market indiscriminately and we are now suffering as we have to repay the loan borrowed by the Left Front government. The Congress is still very friendly with the CPIM and trying their best to work against us," Mamata told the Trinamool Congress rally at Khatra in Bankura district.
Mounting pressure on the Congress-led UPA II government in Delhi, the Trinamool Congress chief also said that "the Centre is now talking about food security bill only because they want to befool the people before the next parliamentary elections. The Centre is now telling that they can't pass the bill in the lok sabha because of our opposition to it. But I am telling you that days of this government are numbered and the Congress would not be able to return to power again. We are also opposing the land bill prepared by the Centre."
The chief minister also told the rally that West Bengal stood first in the country in implementing 100 days work and "we are also progressing well in the industry sector despite the acute financial crisis our government is facing from the very first day of coming to power."
