Left parties today claimed that the people of Bihar have lost faith in the NDA government headed by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for its "failure on all fronts" and yearned for a change of guard at the first available opportunity.

PATNA: Left parties today claimed that the people of Bihar have lost faith in the NDA government headed by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for its "failure on all fronts" and yearned for a change of guard at the first available opportunity.

These views were expressed by the state leaders of CPI, CPI(M) and CPI(M-L) at a meeting here.

Leaders like CPI state secretary Rajendra Prasad Singh, Jabbar Alam (CPI-M) and Kunal (CPI-ML) stressed on unity of the Left parties so as to present a viable alternative to the NDA in the state.

It was also decided at the meeting to take out a 'Sankalp March' against the communal forces on December 6 to coincide with the 20th anniversary of the demolition of the Babri Masjid in Ayodhya.c
