People don't overlook corruption, misrule, says Ajay Singh

BHOPAL: Senior Congress leader Ajay Singh today said the Karnataka Assembly election results have proved that people may stay quiet but they do not overlook corruption and misrule of any government.

"No government should ever think that if it indulges in corruption or misrule, people would never punish it," Singh, the Leader of Opposition in Madhya Pradesh Assembly, said in a statement issued here.

"The rampant corruption by Reddy brothers cost the BJP dear," he said.

The Karnataka poll results would have a major impact on the Assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh, he said.

At the time of Assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh, the tall claims made by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan would also come to naught, he claimed.
