People are returning to Congress, says Mukesh Sharma
NEW DELHI: As Congress tries to regain lost ground in the national Capital, the party today said the results of bypolls show that people are losing trust in BJP and coming back to Congress.

"The results of bypolls indicate that people are losing trust in BJP and they are coming back to Congress," said DPCC chief spokesperson Mukesh Sharma said.

Sharma said that in bypolls, Aam Aadmi Party has been rejected by people in Punjab and fearing the loss, it had decided not to field its candidates in Harayana.

"The people of Delhi will also definitely reject AAP in national capital as well. After identifying the real faces of both AAP and BJP, Delhiites will support Congress if elections are held," Sharma said.

In December last year, Congress had suffered a severe drubbing in the assembly polls, winning just eight seats in the 70-member assembly after ruling the city for 15 consecutive years.

"BJP and AAP have failed to address the public-related issues in Delhi. People will not come back to these political parties," he said.
