PDP faces revolt from business community
The traders accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of going back on his promises concerning rehabilitation and redevelopment of Kashmir.

However, Jammu & Kashmir finance minister Dr Haseeb Drabu, stated that this was no package but an interim development relief measure, which government had demanded before month of Ramazan.
The business community has rejected the compensation terming it a 'package of humiliation' cautioning that the state is heading towards an 'economic disaster.' The package announced by the government of India has nudged unity in the business community of the Valley, who have threatened massive agitation against alleged 'step-motherly' of New Delhi.
"PDP should divorce BJP immediately. Anyway this is the marriage of compulsion," said president Traders federation, Muhammad Ashraf.
According to the business leaders of the valley, the facts and figures put forth by Rajnath Singh and Arun Jaitley regarding the relief and rehabilitation package are completely false.
"The announcement was completely shocking and disaster," said Sheikh Yaseen, chairman Kashmir Chamber of Commerce and Industries.
The alliance also criticized the alleged 'illegal and unconstitutional occupation' of NHPC over water resources of the state and discrimination between Jammu and Kashmir.
"Let me make clear that it is not a package," Drabu told Economic Times. "This is just an interim measure for housing, ration and roads."
