PDP-affiliated students raised slogans at JNU: NSUI
Students who raised "anti-national" slogans belong to an organisation "closely associated" with the PDP and BJP government has "spared" them, NSUI claimed.

"The students involved in raising the slogans (at JNU) are from the organisation closely associated with the PDP (People's Democratic Party) and hence they are untouched as any action against them could have had a direct impact on the BJP-PDP alliance," Hasiba Amin, NSUI national secretary told reporters here.
She demanded strict action against those involved in raising the anti-national slogans at JNU.
A "systematic pattern" has been launched by the BJP government to "crush" any dissent against its ideology in all prime education institutions in the country, Amin claimed.
She further claimed that the students' community is under "trauma" due to increasing attacks on educational institutions.
Amin alleged the students who raise voice against the BJP's ideology "have been dubbed either anti-nationals or Naxalites which is part of this pattern since the BJP came to power".
"The struggles in FTI, IIT or IIM have indicated that the voices of students are suppressed by the Union government," Amin claimed.
