Pay cut for Tripura government employees unauthorized leave during Bharat Bandh on September 10

According to an order issued by District magistrate and collector, West Tripura district, “It is reported that a good number of employees remained absent from office on September 10 on the day of Bharat Bandh.

The order added, “The employees who were found absent from duty, unauthorized, should be treated as “dies-non” without break in service with loss of pay.”
BJP led Tripura government has ordered pay cut to those employees who were not present in office during the Bharat Bandh called by opposition parties on September 10.

According to an order issued by District magistrate and collector, West Tripura district, “It is reported that a good number of employees remained absent from office on September 10 on the day of Bharat Bandh. As per instruction of the government in the GA(AR) Department, Agartala , all the state government employees should perform their duties as usual on that day and any violation of the said instructions by the government employees should be viewed seriously.”

The order added, “The employees who were found absent from duty, unauthorized, should be treated as “dies-non” without break in service with loss of pay.”
