Congress was 'playing the victim card' after Pawan Khera's arrest, BJP has alleged. "Pawan Khera used indecent language against Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He was arrested. There is a rule and Constitution and any action takes place based on the rule of law. No one should consider oneself above the law," BJP national spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia told media persons in Delhi. "First you use indecent language against the PM and then play a victim card."

Bhatia said that Congress violated rules while protesting at the tarmac. "No one is allowed to protest on the tarmac. By doing so, Congress leaders endangered the lives of other passengers," he claimed. By making such comments on Modi, Congress was 'distancing' itself from the people of the country, he claimed.

"Prime Minister Modi has got the blessing of 140 crore people of the country and whenever such things have taken place, people have reposed their faith strongly in him," he said.
