Patna serial blasts: LK Advani calls up Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde, Nitish Kumar

NEW DELHI: Senior BJP leader L K Advani today called up Union Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and expressed concern over the serial blasts in Patna.

Five people were killed and 66 injured in six serial bomb blasts near the venue of BJP's Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi's rally minutes before he reached there to address a huge gathering.

Advani asked both the Centre and Bihar government to take the matter seriously and that appropriate action be taken, his office said in a statement.
